In late fall, we joined our local animal control and other nonprofit organizations to rescue 60 dogs from one home. Among them was Kirk,  a shy but sweet dog who was ready for a fresh start.

While still a bit nervous and head shy with strangers, his new mom saw right through it and knew, given time and love, he would come around. When we checked in a few weeks later, we weren’t at all surprised to get a positive update. His owner shares, “He’s doing great, he and his sister are finally starting to play and get along…He is a perfect addition to our family.”
