Angela Penland

Angela Penland grew up with a passion for helping animals in need. Her entire childhood was spent finding strays, rehabilitating them, and finding them new forever homes. After highschool, she realized she wanted to continue helping animals. She earned her bachelors of science in Animal Science from Chico State University, where she focused her time doing hands-on veterinary and animal care in and out of class.

She has two dogs and three cats, one of which was a foster fail from We Care during her first year of working here. Angela enjoys new challenges that We Care takes on and always has an open door to take in fosters. Her favorite part of working at We Care is giving tours and finding people their perfect companion animals.
