The Move to Sanctuary

Over the decades, We Care Animal Rescue has evolved from an adoption facility to an organization with an emphasis on sanctuary.

This is a natural progression of a no-kill shelter which rescues hopeless, discarded and special needs animal—as we do.
We have come to find that not all of our furry friends will be adopted. Many of the animals in our care are unsuitable for rehoming due to age, illness or temperament. The lives of those who special day may never come will be honored and protected. They will always find sanctuary and a forever home at We Care Animal Rescue. For the young and the old, the shy and the bold, the special needs and the quirky breeds, we are their sanctuary, we are their home.

We honor the animals lives with an unwavering commitment to a true no-kill philosophy. We Care is a cage-free sanctuary for adult cats and dogs. We are home to 250 animals.

As in a any healthy home, the animals receive medical attention, special foods, treats, toys, handmade beds, and lots of love. The animals at we care are surrounded by a family of dedicated caregivers whose soul purpose is to offer them a clean, safe, loving environment – a sanctuary.

In We Care’s sanctuary, all our animals have the opportunity to live out the remainder of their natural lives in a peaceful, serene environment, free from judgment or harm. We do re-home healthy animals that come into our care; for these lucky animals, we are here to bridge them to their new life. We offer adoptions to owners that can provide a safe, permanent, loving home to our furry friends.

We thank you for supporting our efforts.
